MFK Check & Cleaning

The periodical technical inspection (MFK - Motorfahrzeugkontrolle) is a requirement for a car to be allowed to be used on public roads. Every car owner has to undergo a diagnostic test at an authorized center. The inspector checks the operational safety of a vehicle and decides whether a car can be used, or if it needs additional service before it can go on the road. Typically, the inspection takes place every two years except for newer cars where there is a longer interval between the first two checkups. How to prepare for an MFK?
